Beds SU's Welfare and Advice Service (WAS) offer all our student's at the University of Bedfordshire free and confidential advice and assistance on a wide range of matters. We hope you have found some answers in our advice pages but if you didn’t find what you are looking for or need further help please get in touch. We’re here to help.
We have 2 advice centres, one in Luton and the other in Bedford. We are here for all UoB students and do outreach work and will travel to meet you if you can’t come to us whenever we can.

Appointments aren’t always necessary but if you drop in and we are very busy we may have to ask you to come back another time or day. We have a Service Standards Policy which you can find here (Download PDF Here - Right Click and Save As) so you can see what to expect from us.
We have an outreach worker and so if you need us to attend a meeting with you or you have an issue that can’t be resolved by phone or email we will come to whichever campus you study at if at all possible. Please give us plenty of notice if you can so we can arrange to visit you
