► AGM - Annual General Meeting
The Students’ Union holds an Annual General Meeting each year in November to allow all its student members a chance to look back over the past year, comment on the actions undertaken and suggest new directions for the following year. The AGM also allows students to write “motions” to suggest changes that the students present at the AGM can vote on, if the suggested changes are voted through by a majority of a quorum meeting (at least 100 people) then the motion becomes policy and Beds SU has to act upon it.
The AGM is the perfect place to have your say and question the elected officers about what they have done or are going to do.
