At Beds SU four students are elected to fill one of the four sabbaticle positions to represent students to the University of Bedfordshire. This is done in March during the General Elections and all students have the chance to get invovled.
The four sabaticles sit on various commitities and boards, from the University's Board of Governers to Acedemic Boards your voice can be heard at all levels within the University of Bedfordshire.

John Perkins
Presdient
|
|
John Perkins has been a course rep and sports team captaincy since the beginning of his time here in 2008.
"My main roles range from covering areas or tasks that fall outside the other Sabbatical officers remit, being the spokesperson for Beds SU and Students to developing strategy, vision, policy, campaigns and innovation for the Students' Union.
A lot of my responsibilities involve representing the Students in important University meetings. I do that to the best of my ability, but students won't always see that as me acting on their behalf.
I am responsible for developing the strategic plan this year. It may be a 3 year plan or a 5 year plan. Either way it will involve the opinions of students and aim to do what is in their best interest and target what they want."
